Turnkey electronic manufacturing brings every step of a hardware project, from PCB supply and component sourcing to SMT/THT assembly, firmware loading, functional test and final assembly, together at a single manufacturer. SMT Labs runs this chain with one point of contact and one project plan; you take delivery of the result.

  • PCB fabrication and supply (1-64 layers)
  • Component sourcing and alternative management against the BOM
  • SMD and THT assembly, AOI and test
  • Firmware / software loading and serial-number registration
  • Functional test and, where needed, a test jig
  • Box-build: cabling, mechanical assembly, final product test and packaging

You do not manage the PCB maker, the component supplier, the assembly shop and the assembler separately. A dedicated account manager brings every step into a single lead-time plan; responsibility sits in one place.

From prototype to volume

The first sample batch is simplified with DFM feedback; the approved design moves to series production with the same parameters. Revisions are tracked with a version record.

How a turnkey project starts

Turnkey manufacturing FAQ

What is the difference between turnkey and piece-by-piece service?
In piece-by-piece service you coordinate PCB, components, assembly and box-build. In turnkey, SMT Labs takes on that coordination, the fit risk and single-lead-time delivery.
Do you also do firmware loading and functional test?
Yes. Firmware loading, serial-number registration and functional test are in scope; a project-specific test jig is built if needed.
Will you work turnkey for a prototype only?
Yes. You can start with a single sample batch, see the result and move to series through the same process.
I have no design yet, only an idea. Can we still start?
We start the conversation with whatever documentation you have; if the design is incomplete, the engineering support team clarifies the gaps and then we move to production.
